Dongil Glass Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Young-jin) donated 10 million won to Cheongju City on the morning of the 8th in the reception room of the city hall to be used for low-income families in Cheongju.

 

The donation of 10 million won will be used for projects for low-income families through the 'Cheongju 365! Do Dream Integrated Welfare Portal'.

 

Dongil Glass Co., Ltd., a local company representing Cheongju, is a company that faithfully fulfills its social role by donating donations to help neighbors and donations for human resource development every year.

 

Representative Kim Young-jin joined the 36th (1,326 nationwide) Honor Society member in the Chungbuk region last November, and she has donated 110 million won since 2011 to practice sharing.

 

Honor Society is a major donor club of the Community Chest of Korea and refers to individual donors who have agreed to pay 100 million won or more within 5 years.

 

The Cheongju Livestock Industry Cooperative (Chairman In-jong Yoo) and the Cheongju Branch of the Korean Hand Drawn Association (Chief Lee Min-young) held a donation ceremony for helping neighbors at the 'Hope 2017 Sharing Campaign' circuit fundraising event held at the Cheongju Cultural Center.

 

At this event, Yoo In-jong, the president of the Cheongju Livestock Industry Cooperative, and Lee Min-young, the branch manager of the Cheongju branch of the Korean Hand Drawn Association, donated Korean beef and pork to the needy neighbors.

 

The items donated on this day were 550 kg of Korean beef (Cheongju Livestock Industry Cooperative) valued at KRW 20 million and 600 kg of pork (Cheongju Branch of the Korean Pig Association) with a market value of KRW 4 million.

 

The donated Korean beef and pork will be donated to the Chungbuk Social Welfare Community Chest and delivered to about 1,150 low-income households in the Cheongju area.

 

Bongmyeong 1-dong, Heungdeok-gu signed up for 'Good Neighborhood No. 1' at the 'Hope 2017 Sharing Campaign' tour fundraising event.

 

'Nice Neighborhood' is a campaign to create a beautiful local community where residents live together with their underprivileged neighbors through regular donations at 10 o'clock.

 

Since last July, Bongmyeong 1-dong has been promoting various welfare projects by finding 150 regular donors under the auspices of the local social security council so that they can embrace and support each other in need.

 

Ban Jun-hwan, chairman of the local social security council in Bongmyeong 1-dong, said, "The residents practiced generous sharing and joined the 'Good Neighborhood No. 1'.
