It was also selected as a “prestigious company” with social and economic contributions through healthy management as well as in power.

The same glass is focused on the production of multi -layered glass and the assembly and production of aluminum window frames and windows. This year, the construction capacity evaluation amounted to 20 billion won, the top 1% of the 8,300 metal windows and roof building assembly companies nationwide.

Dongil Yuri, based in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, has participated in major projects nationwide, such as Seoul National University Gwanjeong Library, Seoul Sinsa Square, Jeju National Tax Service Training Center, and Chungbuk Public Vaccine Development Support Center. Its main customers are large construction companies such as Hyundai E&C, Samsung C&T, Daewoo E&C, POSCO E&C, and Halla E&C.

The 5,000 m² (1,500 pyeong) Cheongju plant and the 10,000 m² (3,000 pyeong) Ochang factory where the headquarters are located are producing double-layer glass, etc., with an annual output of about 450,000 m².

Recently, new facilities have been introduced at the Ochang Plant to expand production capacity. The company introduced an 'automatic rack system' that can quickly move flat glass from the storage warehouse to the production line, and the company explained that the productivity would be improved by 60% compared to the previous one. In addition, an automatic production line for double-layer glass with TPS (thermoplastic inter-bar) insulation inter-bars was also built. The TPS insulated bar is a combination of all the functions such as a thin bar, moisture absorbent, and red adhesive, which are necessary for the production of double-layer glass.

Dongil Glass has been producing KS (Korean Industrial Standard) certified products since the early 1990s, when double-layer glass was unfamiliar. Double glazing refers to double glazing with an air layer of about 1 cm between two panes of glass. It has superior insulation and sound insulation effects compared to ordinary plate glass. Recently, it is responding to market demand by injecting argon gas with excellent insulation performance instead of air, and it is also producing double-layer glass using Low-E glass, which enhances the insulation effect by coating a thin silver film on one side of the plate glass.

Dongil Glass's manufacturing and production technology for double-layer glass is one of the best in Korea. The fact that he is a Platinum member, the highest grade of the ‘Duo Light Club’ of Korea Glass Industries (Hanglas) proves this. The Duolight Club is Han Glass's network of double-layer glass producers that only companies recognized for their technological prowess and quality can join. Only 68 companies have registered as members, of which only 9 are platinum members.

Dongil Glass holds various certificates and reports in the aluminum window manufacturing area, such as KS certification and environmental label certification. Through this, we are producing products that satisfy the highest performance standards in terms of insulation performance, air barrier performance (airtightness), and eco-friendliness. In particular, in the middle of last year, it developed an aluminum window with a thermal transmittance rate of 0.709W/m2K that satisfies the insulation standards for energy-saving eco-friendly houses across the country.

Dongil Glass aims to become a ‘specialized energy saving company’. It is the aspiration to produce double-layer glass and windows that meet the needs of the times, such as eco-friendly and carbon-neutral, based on excellent technology, and through this, lead to energy savings in buildings.
