[Cheongju=Newsis] Reporter Se-woong Park = Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, signed an agreement for human resource support for hopeful workers in the city hall conference room on the 2nd in the presence of Cheongju Mayor Nam Sang-woo and CEO Dongil-yuri Kim Young-gap, vice president of business.

After receiving applications for employment support for hopeful workers with 28 small and medium-sized enterprises in the city twice in December of last year and January of this year, through a meeting, the city agreed to provide manpower support for 21 people to 8 companies.

The city plans to provide 600,000 won per person per month for four months to prospective workers hired by these companies, and to extend the support for two months if additional requests are made by the companies.

Businesses will also pay 400,000 won per month with the desired worker who has signed a labor contract, and it is expected that about 1 million won per month will be paid to each hopeful worker.

A city official said that through the Hope Work Participant Employment Support Project, it would be helpful to both the companies that are experiencing difficulties in finding a job and the vulnerable class who are having a hard time finding a job.
